A community led approach to tackling knife crime.
become a DISTANT MEMORY
Don't let our SAFETY
Violent crime is on the rise in the UK. Communities and families are suffering in many cities in the UK as a result. The issue has not been tackled effectively to date.
Previously a single solution approach has been taken which has had little impact on the statistics and most importantly the lives ruined. The Make It Stop campaign suggests a mission-based approach to the problem, acknowledging that there is no silver bullet to solving the problem.
A long-term, multi-solution approach needs to be adopted and it needs to be community-led, while at the same time bringing together all the stakeholders and actors who can have an influence on this issue. There is no short-term answer, but there is a long-term solution.
100 pieces
We have set out to tackle 100 socio-politcal issues that are leading to the drastic rise in violent crime in England and Wales, in the hope that we can provide a solution to this crisis.
